This is a critically endangered black crested macaque. It lives in groups of 5 to 25, the males being outnumbered 4 to 1(Although the males sometimes form bachelor groups). 70% of a black crested macaque's diet is fruit, the other 30% being leaves, buds, seeds, fungus, birds, bird eggs, insects, and the occasional lizard or frog. One captive, named Natasha, began walking on her hind legs after a stroke.
